Because it generates no pollution, cold saponification is a sustainable manufacturing process. It is a militant choice by Catherine Flurin in favor of low-tech, zero-waste, the biodiversity of our countryside, and a low carbon footprint. We also refuse the use of palm and coconut oil: these oils imported from afar contribute to biopiracy and deforestation.
