Organic Chestnut Honey from the Black Mountain
Harvested in July in the Pyrenean foothills, this characterful honey with a woody flavor and tinged with a bitterness characteristic of the chestnut tree will delight lovers of full-bodied honey.
RAW HONEY FROM SWEET BEEEKEEPING
A nectar concentrating the best of what the Pyrenean bees have gathered. Honey with a warm, woody smell and a strong, woody aroma with a characteristic bitterness.
OUT OF PHASE HONEY
This honey is raw, it has not undergone any heating and naturally goes through 4 phases:
1 - It is liquid at the time of harvest
2 - It often becomes thicker during winter
3 - Then either it remains frozen or it shifts. The honey is separated into a liquid part and a thicker part. Unphased honeys always taste very good.
4 - When stored at room temperature for an extended period of time, honey can ferment naturally. It remains edible and is perfect for cooking and baking.
